ABOUT US
Gulf Coast Behavioral Sciences llc was formed to provide professional counseling and applied behavioral analysis services to individuals and families in the community. Autism and behavior disorders not only affect the individual, but the family system around them as well.
Experience Matters: Pulling from successes and failures of the past
Outpatient community mental health counseling, intensive outpatient adult services, vocational counseling, family preservation, and ABA services in school and home settings all contributed to the creation of Gulf Coast Behavioral Sciences.
No two families are alike the same way that no two kids diagnosed with autism are alike. Experience has shown me that quite often a child diagnosed with autism also has a family exhibiting similar behaviors. In some cases a family will tolerate the quirky rituals and unpredictable behaviors to the point where they are unable to enjoy their time together.
The stress on marriages and relationships is frequently overlooked.
