Talk therapy is sometimes not as effective as modeling and practicing new behaviors in different settings.

Individual and family counseling is an effective component to help open lines of communication and process what has worked and not worked in the past. Also discovering how the family would like things to be.
I have developed positive relationships with local school districts and work closely with special education departments to develop trainings, functional behavior assessments, and crisis intervention strategies.

Professional Crisis Management Training
Professional Crisis Management is one of the few interventions approved by the Mississippi Department of Education for Safe and Orderly Schools. Its interventions are based on ABA with emphasis on repetition during training to ensure procedures are carried out consistently. PCM also emphasizes variables influencing behaviors prior to their onset as well as how they are maintained.
SERVICES
Although the office is located in Gulfport, I spend a lot of time "in the field" providing services where the behaviors are occurring. Living rooms, classrooms, malls, military bases, supermarkets are all fair game.
